Once again I have the pleasure to invite you to our 14th Conference (2nd international) of the Medical Research Institute, to be held at the Sheraton Montazah Hotel Alexandria, Egypt; from the 29th to 31st of October, 2008.
Cancer has become a local and global health problem; the conference will cover different aspects of malignant diseases aiming at improving cancer outcome: early diagnosis, prevention and management. National and international speakers are invited to share their ideas and to enlight discussions on the various topics.
The venue of this meeting is in the city of Alexandria "the pearl of the Mediterranean", Egypt's prime gateway throughout history that prevailed for a long time as the world's greatest repository of knowledge and exporter of culture.
Alexandria is also a thriving city, rich in beauty, heritage, culture and history. It is an important tourist resort with a 25km sea cost, which is one of its best features. It has one of the largest libraries in the world "Bibliotheca Alexandrina", which witnesses the historical background of Alexandria.
